I have recently joined the Derby Sketching Club and their web site is well worth a look. I am particularly interested in the portrait sessions, as working from live models is a great challenge for any artist. I am hoping it will improve my drawing and observation skills.
In addition, I have been excepted for the “Art in the Round” event at the Round house in Derby on 3 and 4 May this year. This is a really exciting event as the object is to encourage all to take part in art events.
